Hello to my friends in Nederland!

Firstly, I'm sorry for my silence. I finished my tour of the Netherlands on August 23rd and have been incredibly busy since then. I travelled with the boat from Dunkirk to Dover and then did 2 weeks of work in the south of England before I returned to my home in the north of England. I had been 'on the road' for nearly 8 weeks.
After only 6 days at home, I travelled to Norway to do some more A2 upgrades. I installed Colour FIS in a 1.2 TDI 3L near Oslo Gardermoen airport.

I hope that you are all well and that everyone is happy with the work that I did on your A2s. I had such an excellent time in the Netherlands. It was great that a social event happened during my visit. Thank you to everyone who helped to organise this, and to everyone who made me feel so welcome.
I will definitely be returning to the Netherlands at some point in 2019. I have no precise plans yet, but I will be sure to let you all know a long time in advance. So, maybe start thinking about the upgrades that you would like to have.

Whilst I was in Norway - after the A2 upgrades! - I hired a small car (a Peugeot 107 with winter tyres) and drove to the Jotunheimen mountain range. Here you will find the heighest mountain in northern Europe, which I climbed with my sister. You don't see landscape like this in the Netherlands! ...

I am now back in the UK, having a less exciting time, catching up on paperwork, etc. Then it will be time to start planning my next A2 adventure!

I have to remind you, you still have the highest dutch peak to climb (Vierlandenpunt), so your return to the Netherlands is eminent and imminent. We'll keep in touch ....

Hi @timmus ,

Nice to hear something from you. Although you didn't do any upgrade on my car, it was nice to meet you at the mini meeting in August.

For next year we are exploring some options for a meeting where A2 forummembers can do some upgrades or small mechanical repairs to their A2. There is nothing concrete jet but if there is, will let you know.

For now, goodbye and hoop to meet(ing) you next year.

Hello Tom,

Nice to read that the cars you've worked on are driving through whole Europe. You're going to be famous. ^^ My cradle stills works like a charm by the way and I'm very happy with it every time.

Seems intense to drive a 107 in a country like Norway and what a nice climb! I'm a bit jealous to be honest. Hopefully I'll ever climb a decent mountain as well.

I'm sure we'll meet again when you visit Holland. Looking forward to it.
